FORME DELL’AMICIZIA

Virgilio Sieni e Alessandro Certini, autorevoli protagonisti della contemporaneità italiana, dopo molti anni si ritrovano per narrare l’amicizia quale forma del tempo, in una eccezionale occasione artistica e umana. L’ultima esperienza di creazione insieme infatti risale a “Duetto” opera del 1989. Fino ad allora avevano condiviso gli studi d’arte, l’iniziazione alla danza, le esperienze artistiche di quegli anni… tante forme di quella che è una amicizia. Così, con questo lavoro si ripercorre oggi il loro percorso certamente artistico, ma anche umano ed esistenziale.
Dai primi passi: inizialmente tutto potrà sembrare innocuo, facile, automatico, interrogativo. Col tempo ci accorgeremo invece che il gesto della danza è capace di restituire ascolto e può permettere di viaggiare letteralmente nei luoghi del corpo intrecciati nel movimento del tempo, per ritrovarsi.
Le forme e i movimenti danzati costituiscono l’ossatura dello spettacolo e il racconto danzato dai due coreografi-autori rappresenta le “parole emozionali” del loro pensiero rivolto all’amicizia comune.

Virgilio Sieni and Alessandro Certini, renowned protagonists of the Italian contemporary dance scene, after many years meet again to narrate friendship as it shapes time, in an exceptional artistic and human occasion. Their last experience of creation together dates back to "Duetto", a 1989 collaborative production. Until then they had shared their art studies, their initiation into dance, the artistic experiences of those years... so many forms of friendship. So, with this work we retrace today their journey, certainly artistic, but also human and existential.
From the first steps: in the beginning everything seems innocuous, easy, automatic, inquiring. As time goes by, we will realize that gesture through dance is capable of restoring and listening and can allow us to literally travel in places of the body interwoven in the movement of time, to find ourselves again.
The forms and the movements danced constitute the framework of the performance and the story danced by the two choreographer-authors represents the "emotional words" of their thought addressed to common friendship.
